Scholarships

The Missouri Juvenile Justice Association Scholarship is an education scholarship designed to assist students who have been referred to a Missouri juvenile court and who have a desire to pursue their education.

MJJA has also started awarding the Rodney Fisher “FUTURE OF A CHILD” Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to one recipient each year, in memory of Rodney Fisher. Rodney was a long-standing supporter of MJJA, he worked at FCC Behavioral Health for 36 years holding a variety of positions to include Counselor, Program Director, Classroom Instructor, Care Coordinator and Public relations. Rodney’s love of life and compassion for children and families was immeasurable. Because of generous funding from FCC Behavioral Health, our first scholarship recipient is awarded FOUR YEARS of funding. Our very first recipient of the Rodney Fisher “Future of a Child” Memorial Scholarship is awarded to Kaylee Chainey, the recipient in 2025 is Abbriella.

MJJA relies on support to help us raise funds for these very important awards. Thanks to everyone who has participated in the Strikes for Success Bowling Tournament last fall at Margaritaville, or made a donation to help us make this happen.
