The Missouri Juvenile Justice Association (MJJA) is calling on you to join our mission to advocate for children, youth, and families across Missouri. As a not-for-profit organization, we rely on the generosity of donors, members, and grantors to sustain our critical advocacy efforts for over 87,000 children who enter Missouri’s juvenile justice system each year. We unite experts, organizations, and individuals to cultivate a justice-focused community that prioritizes prevention, education, and support for young people.

MJJA leads initiatives across the state, including: Juvenile Detention Alternatives, Detention Standards/Practices, Racial and Ethnic Disparity, School-to-Prison Pipeline, Diversion Strategies, Restorative Justice, Trauma-Informed Practice, Training and Education for juvenile justice & child welfare professionals, the development of Law Enforcement Guidelines for Best Practice in Juvenile Justice & Child Welfare, and Child Safety.

Our Commitment to Change:
