Connect with MJJA:

Training & Education

MJJA leads the effort towards the ongoing development and provision of cooperative education and training programs with juvenile and family courts, youth serving agencies, organizations, law enforcement, volunteers, attorneys and Judges.

This refinement of skills promotes excellence within Missouri's juvenile justice system.

Training specific to juvenile justice is not offered as a separate Curriculum at the college level. Because of the diversity of skills required for juvenile justice personnel, it is impossible to identify a college curriculum offering inclusive cross-training.

ALL of MJJA training programs are accredited by the Missouri Bar Association for Continuing Legal Education Credits and some from the Advisory Committee for Licensing Clinical Social Workers. Some programs may also be accredited for POST (Peace Officer Standards Training) Credits.

See our conferences page for a listing of upcoming and past MJJA conferences.
